Because of our willingness to accept cats as superhuman creatures, they are the ideal animals with which to work creatively. Women, poets and especially artists, like cats; have delicate natures only can you realize their sensitivity.
As an inspiration, i do not think the cat can be over-estimated. He suggests so much power, grace of motion, beauty and mysticism. I do not wonder that many writers love cats; i am only surprised that all do not.
